Electrochem Releases AA2100 NiMH Battery

Electrochem Automation Co. Ltd. (Shanghai, China) released its new AA2100 nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery that offers a nominal voltage of 1.2V and a capacity of 2.1Ah. Marketed under the Nexcell brand, the NiMH battery is designed for use in cordless phones, camcorders, electric toothbrushes, digital cameras and notebook PCs. It is available with a maximum diameter of 14.1mm and a maximum height of 50mm with a weight of about 29g.
