DC-DCs with 200- to 1500-Vdc Input for PV Systems
Aimtec announces the release of the new AM5W-NZ, AM10W-NZ, AM10WM-NZ, AM15W-NZ, AM15WN-NZ and AM40W-NZ series of 5-, 10-, 15- and 40-W dc-dc converters. These new series feature a 10:1 input with a voltage range of 100- to 1500-Vdc across 3 separate ranges and 22 different products. They also feature a regulated output signal with a high input to output isolation of 4000Vac which is tested over a 60 seconds cycle during manufacturing.
Supporting different nominal input voltage levels of 200-, 600-, 800- or 1500-Vdc, these series convert to single output voltages of 5-, 12-, 15- and 24-Vdc. The series operate within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees C or -25 to 70 degrees C to work under different environmental conditions based on the application specifics. These series are designed particularly to meet the requirements of photovoltaic power generation systems and high-voltage inverters.
These new models are available in several encapsulated packages of varying dimensions for PCB mounting, chassis and DIN Rail mounting and feature over voltage and over current output protection, continuous short circuit protection, input under voltage lockout, reversed connection protection and start up in a maximum of 2 second with no output load required.
