CPS Expands Cellboost Line of Portable Power Solutions
Compact Power Systems LLC (CPS, Los Angeles, CA), a manufacturer of Cellboost portable power solutions, delivered an expanded product line, including Cellboost for Apple iPod, iPod mini, and iPod shuffle; the new Sony PSP; the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP and DS systems; camcorders; and smart phones. Additionally, the expanded Cellboost line also includes the company's first line of lithium-ion rechargeable solutions, iRecharge™, designed to provide alternative backup power for iPod, iPod mini, and iPod shuffle devices. The iRecharge will give an extra 12 hours of play time to iPod and iPod mini users, and an extra 40 hours of play time to iPod shuffle users, and can be recharged for repeated use.
The Cellboost products keep portable electronic devices powered for one to eight hours when batteries die or are low and recharging is not an option. Featuring the same patented technology as the company's Cellboost product for cell phones, the new products offer instant and inexpensive battery power. The pocket-sized new line of accessories, inserted into the same port as the standard ac charger, will restore power to dead or dying devices within seconds, without using electrical outlets, battery changes, or cords. The Cellboost units simultaneously power and charge the devices, can be used in one charging session or several, and can be thrown away when the power is exhausted.
The Cellboost for smart phones delivers an average of 60 minutes of usage time/60 hours of standby time and is priced at $7.99. The Cellboost for camcorders supplies 60 to 100 minutes of extra recording time and is priced at $14.99. The Cellboost for Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP and DS provides six hours of additional playing time and is priced at $8.99. The Cellboost for Sony PSP provides two hours of additional playing time and is priced at $9.99. The Cellboost for Apple iPod and iPod mini delivers eight hours of additional play time and is priced at $9.99.
