Convertek Releases the BJ3140-2, MP1135 and MS1135 Inverters

Converter Technology Co. Ltd. (Convertek, Taiwan) has released its new BJ3140-2, MP1135 and MS1135 wire-wound transformer inverters, measuring 183mm x 32mm x 9.4mm, 155mm x 11mm x 5.8mm, and 145mm x 3.2mm x 4.5mm, respectively. The devices are designed for use in LCD backlighting applications in notebook computers and LCD monitors. Convertek claims that the inverters deliver minimum efficiency rated from 78 to 80 percent.

The BJ3140-2 is intended for 15in and 18in LCDs. Both the MP1135 and MS1135 are for 12in and 14in LCDs. The BJ3140-2 and MS1135 feature an analog voltage-dimming signal, while the MP1135 features a digital dimming signal.

Convertek's MP1135 and MS1135 feature an input voltage of 9Vdc to 21Vdc and an output power of 3.5W. Frequency is rated at 65kHz. The BJ3140-2 accepts an input voltage of 9Vdc and offers an output power of 8W. Its frequency is 44kHz.
