Cincon Electronics Intros CFM05 Series AC-DC Power Supplies

Cincon Electronics Co. Ltd. (Taiwan), a manufacturer of external ac-dc power supplies, announced its new CFM05 Series of low-cost, compact, open-frame, 5 W ac-dc switching power supplies. With a small footprint of 55 mm x 35 mm x 20 mm (2.17 in x 1.38 in x 0.78 in), the CFM05 Series has a universal 85 Vac to 264 Vac input, and offers single outputs from 3.3 Vdc to 24 Vdc.

The units have 0.5 percent line regulation and 1 percent load regulation from 10 percent load to full load, and efficiencies are typically 77 percent. Additional features include built-in short-circuit protection and convection-cooled operation in ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C. The CFM05 Series has UL, cUL, and TUV safety certification, and meets the conducted EMI requirements CISPR/FCC Class B.
