Chien Wei Offers New Polypropylene Film Capacitor

Chien Wei Electronics Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) debuted a new metallized, polypropylene film capacitor, which features high stability and self-healing characteristics. The non-inductive device has a dipped epoxy coating that protects it from humidity.

Designed for use in coupling, by-pass, RF filtering and solid-state applications where size is critical, the capacitor has a capacitance range between 0.001 µF to 0.1 µF; a capacitance tolerance of ±1 percent(F), ±2 percent(G), ±5 percent(J) and ±10 percent(K); a rated voltage of 100 Vdc, 250 Vdc, 400 Vdc and 630 Vdc; a dissipation factor of 0.1 percent at 1 kHz, 25°C; and an insulation resistance of >30,000 Mohms at 25 °C. The operating temperature range is from -40 °C to +105 °C.
