Changjie Electronic Presents CIS Series Capacitors

Changjie Electronic Co. Ltd. (Changzhou, China) announced its new CIS Series of plastic film capacitors, designed for antenna coupling, line bypass and EMI filter applications, which are available with capacitance values ranging from 1.5nF to 1µF with ±10 percent or ±20 percent tolerance and voltage ratings of 125Vac, 250Vac or 280Vac.

The devices are available with dimensions from 13mm x 11mm x 5mm to 31.5mm x 26mm x 16mm and exhibit a maximum dissipation factor of 0.01. The capacitors provide an insulation resistance of at least 15 gigaohms if the capacitance is up to 0.33µF, or >5 gigaohms if the capacitance is >0.33µF. The capacitors can also withstand up to 4.3 times their rated voltage between terminals, or up to 2kVac between terminal and case.
