New Products Nov 19, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Champion Microelectronic Corp. (Taiwan) announced the new CM2841 CMOS LDO regulators with enable and power-good functions. The regulators consume a quiescent current of 30µA (typical) and 35µA (maximum). The devices are housed in space-saving SOT23-5 packages. They can be employed in battery-powered devices, PDAs, mobile telephones, cable modems and LCD monitors.

The regulators provide an output voltage of 1.2V and an output current of 300mA, from an input voltage ranging from 2.5V to 7V. Output voltage accuracy is within ±1.5 percent. The operating temperature range is from -40 to +85 degrees C.
