Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the addition of the new CZT2680 250V, 1.5A, high-speed, switching NPN transistor to the POWER223™ family of power transistors, which combines both high voltage and high-speed switching characteristics in a low-profile, SOT-223, surface-mount package. The CZT2680 is suitable for typical applications such as drivers and general high-voltage switching applications.
Manufactured utilizing the epitaxial planar process, the CZT2680 device offers reliability and performance, and complements the existing range of NPN power devices manufactured by Central Semiconductor. Other devices in this range include the CZT3150 (NPN, 50V/5A), the CZT3120 (NPN, 120V/3A) and the CZT31C (NPN, 100V/3A).
The CZT2680 is available bulk-packed or in 1,000-piece quantities on 7in tape and reel. Prices for the CZT2680 start at $0.42 each for 1,000 pieces on a 7in reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
