Calex Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Concord, CA) announced the new model 2.12.360 dual-output linear power supply. The 2.12.360 provides an output of ±12V at ±360mA making the unit suitable for a variety of noise-sensitive applications, including operational amplifiers, function modules and data conversion circuits. The 2.12.360 is characterized by tight regulation, low noise and stability.
The voltage accuracy of the 2.12.360 is ±0.5 percent. Line and load regulation is ±0.04 percent, maximum. Output ripple is only 1mV(rms). The 2.12.360 is isolated input to output. The isolation voltage is 1,500V(rms).The unit also provides short-circuit protection through foldback current limiting.
Input options for the 2.12.360 are 110Vac, 115Vac, 220Vac, 230Vac and 240Vac. The case size of the 2.12.360 is 3.5in x 2.5in x 1.56in. The unit is fully encapsulated with an epoxy-based potting compound for use in a variety of environments. The 2.12.360 is designed for pcb mounting, however, mounting kits are available for chassis-mount and rack-mount applications.
