Burle Industries Unveils PF1056 Power Supply

February 02, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Burle Industries Inc. (Lancaster, PA) introduced the new PF1056 benchtop power supply, which provides an output of up to -5kV at 667µA and is designed specifically for MCP-based photomultipliers. Suited for laboratory and test environments, the company claims that the device offers high stability and low ripple for the most demanding MCP-PMT applications.

The new device also has built-in safeguards to protect sensors against repetitive discharge events by shutting down and presenting a logic level indicating the event. The PF1056 exhibits a ripple <15mV, line and load regulation <0.01 percent, drift of <0.02 percent per day, and a temperature coefficient of ±100ppm/°C.
