BI Technologies Intros Model 45 Series Trimmers

The Electronic Components division of BI Technologies (Fullerton, CA), a subsidiary of TT electronics plc (Patterson, NJ), recently developed a 15-turn, trimming potentiometer in a surface-mount package. Designated the Model 45 Series, the trimmers feature a 4mm² design, capable of withstanding aggressive board-cleaning processes. The Model 45 Series is suitable for a large range of applications, including medical equipment, photoelectric controls, industrial coin changers and power supplies.

The new trimmers offer resistance values from 10 ohms to 2 milliohms and are available in top- and side-adjust versions, J-hook, or gull-wing termination styles. Pricing is under $1 in volume quantities. Lead times are five weeks ARO and packaging options include tubes or tape-and-reel.
