Bestec Power Unveils BPS Series Power Supplies

Bestec Power Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) announced its new BPS Series of CPU power supplies that provide outputs of ±5V and ±12V from a 90Vac to 264Vac input, and offers a mean time between failures of >20,000h.

The 150mm x 140mm x 85mm device has a minimum efficiency of 70 percent at full-load conditions and offers a hold-up time of 14ms. Line and load regulation is placed at ±1 percent and ±5 percent. The device also offers convection cooling and is rated for operation at a temperature range of -25 to +85 degrees C. It also features over-power and short-circuit protection.
