Axiom Energy Releases New Power Plug Adapter

Axiom Energy Conversion Pvt. Ltd. (India) released a new power plug adapter for notebook computers, which features a detachable dc plug and is suitable for all types of laptops. It has a built-in active power controller that reduces overheating and noise, and a three-pin IEC 320 socket. The model measures 80 mm x 40 mm x 140 mm, and weighs approximately 650 g.

The product has an input-voltage rating of 100 Vac to 300 Vac and a frequency rating of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The input-current ratings are <1.5 A at 110 Vac and <0.8 A at 230 Vac. The inrush-current rating is <30 A at 230 Vac cold start. The output-voltage rating is adjustable within a range of 15 Vdc to 24 Vdc. The output-current rating is 5 A to 6 A. The output-voltage regulation is ±5 percent and the output ripple is 1 percent.

The adapter operates within a temperature of 0 °C to 50 °C, and a humidity level of 95 percent. It meets IEC 1950 standards. Pricing is $34. The minimum order is $5,000 worth, deliverable within 14 days ARO.
