AVX/Kyocera Debuts BestCap Series Supercapacitors

AVX/Kyocera (Singapore) debuted its new BestCap Series of double-layer supercapacitors, which feature a capacitance range of 10 mF to 70 mF; a rated voltage of 3.5 V, 4.5 V, 5.5 V, 7 V, 9 V or 12 V; and an ESR of 25 milliohms to 350 milliohms.

Suitable for RF modems, hybrid batery packs, memory backups, camera flash systems, switch-mode power supplies and wireless alarm systems, the devices are available in dimensions of 20 mm x 15 mm (BZ05), 28 mm x 17 mm (BZ01) or 48 mm x 30 mm (BZ02), and have a profile of 2.1 mm.
