AVX Corp. (Myrtle Beach, SC) introduced its new extended range of porcelain and ceramic multilayer capacitors for RF applications ranging from 1MHz to 10GHz. Designated the AQ Series, the capacitors feature stability under stresses of changing voltage, frequency, time and temperature, and are now available in 0603 case sizes for space-sensitive applications.
The AQ Series capacitors feature capacitance values from 0.1pF to 5,100pF. Rated voltage ranges from 50Vdc to 500Vdc, with a temperature coefficient of 90 ±20ppm per degree C or 0 ±30ppm per degree C. The operating temperature range is -55 to +125 degrees C.
The AQ Series is available in OEM quantities and is packaged on tape-and-reel for automated placement equipment. The AQ Series capacitors are available with lead times from stock to six weeks.
