The series is available in desktop or wall plug-in styles with output voltage models in 3V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V and 48V.

The PW118 features foldback over-current and short-circuit features. Transient-output response is 0.5msec for a 50-percent load change. Hold-up time is 18msec at 120Vac and 100msec at 240Vac. All models have low output ripple.

"The 10W to 20W product range represents a large growth opportunity, especially for telecommunications, broadband and computer peripheral appliations," said Greg Harris, Ault's vice president of business development. "The compact PW118 is ideally suited for wireless and modem products, two of our highest-growth segments worldwide."

The PW118 Series is priced at under $6.80 in 1,000-piece quantities. It is available in two styles and eight voltage models.
