Astrodyne Corp. (Taunton, MA) announced its OFM/M Series line of medically approved, ultra-miniature, open-frame, modular switching power supplies that provide output power over the range of 5W to 15W. All models accept universal input from 85Vac to 265Vac, and 12 models are available that provide single outputs of 5Vdc to 24Vdc.
The power supplies are pinout- and size-compatible to encapsulated modules. The OFM/M Series features an integral power-good LED indicator and output-adjustment potentiometer, and will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0°C to 45°C without forced cooling or output-power derating. All models contain over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuitry and internal input filtering.
The OFM/M Series is fully approved to EN60950/UL1950 and EN60601-1 medical safety specifications. Commercial non-medical versions approved are also available. All models are designed for PCB plug-in mounting. Prices start at $19 in OEM quantities. Delivery is stock to two weeks ARO.
