June 06, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Astrodyne Corp. (Taunton, MA) announced its MKS75 Series of enclosed switching power supplies, which accept inputs from 85Vac to 265Vac, and provide 75W of output, as well as 3kV isolation, making them suitable for use in the low-to-moderate power requirements of telecommunication, industrial control and embedded systems.

Available in four models that provide single outputs from 5Vdc to 24Vdc, the surface-mount devices feature a power-good LED indicator and output-adjustment potentiometer; operate from -10 to +60 degrees C without forced cooling and output power derating; and come with over-voltage, short-circuit protection and integral input line filtering.

The MKS75 Series are shipped in 127mm x 76.2mm x 43.18mm casings with screw terminal I/O connections. They are priced at $39 in OEM quantities.
