Astrodyne Announces Medical Grade 320W Switching Power Supplies With 2 Mounting Options

Astrodyne Corp. announced the PMMK320 line of high density switching power supplies that provide output power of 320W with active PFC. All models accept universal input from 90-264Vac and 6 models are available that provide single outputs from 5 to 48Vdc, and are designed to meet the space and performance parameters needed in medical and dental instrumentation and systems.

The PMMK320 series is approved for UL/EN60606-1 medical safety specifications. Utilizing high density SMT construction and providing power densities of up to 6Win³, the PMMK320 offers a rugged aluminum enclosure with fan included and screw terminals for input/output connections. The PMMK320 series may be ordered in either of two mounting options; fully enclosed or fully enclosed with DIN Rail mounts. All models feature short circuit, overvoltage and over current protection and an integral power-good LED indicator. The PMMK320 series operates at 100% capability to a temperature range of -10 to 50°C. Dimensions are 7.99 x 3.86 x 1.57" and all models feature remote ON/OFF and remote sense to 0.5V compensation. Commercial (PMK320) UL/EN60950-1 versions are also available.
