APS Announces New 100W Convection Cooled Power Supply for Medical & ITE Applications

Advanced Power Solutions (APS) announced the APS100M1 Series of convection-cooled power supplies in the standard 4.5 x 2.5 footprint featuring 1~3 outputs ranging from 3.3~48Vdc.

According to the company, competitive products in the same high density footprint typically require airflow and are priced substantially higher. The APS100M1 utilizes the latest component technologies with fixed frequency flyback topologies for higher density and reduced costs. The APS100MI series consists of 18 output models with single, dual and triple outputs ranging from 3.3-48Vdc. The supply features Universal AC Input; Power Factor Correction for EN61000-3-2 compliance; 189µA leakage @ 230Vac (max); 0~50°C convection cooled operation; Class B emissions; and worldwide safety approvals including UL/cUL60601-1/EN60601-1/CE Mark (LVD) for use in both medical and ITE applications. The APS100MI series is well suited for applications where space is at a premium and there is budget for internal fans.
