APS Announces APS150RS-IND Series AC-DC Power Supplies

Advanced Power Solutions (APS, Pleasanton, CA) announced its new APS150RS-IND Series of ac-dc switching power supplies, designed for environmentally demanding applications such as mobile radio base stations, roadside electronic cabinets, and other harsh environments, which operate over a -40 °C to +85 °C ambient temperature range (full-load operation up to +70 °C).

The new U-Frame power supplies deliver 150 W of continuous output power with single outputs ranging from 3.3 Vdc to 48 Vdc. The small U-Frame package measures 5.00 x 3.20 x 1.50 and features universal ac input with active power-factor correction for EN61000-3-2 (Class A) compliance. Built-in over-current, over-temperature, and over-voltage protection circuits are standard. Status and control functions, including remote on/off control, dc OK signals, and thermally controlled fan options, are standard. The series carries international safety standards (UL/cUL60950, EN60950), bear the CE Mark (LVD), and offer Class B emissions.
