Animatics Offers New SM1720D SmartMotor

Animatics Corp. (Santa Clara, CA) offered its new SM1720D SmartMotor, which has been redesigned and cost-reduced to use the same industry-standard connectors that are available with the company's other SmartMotors: the double D-sub connector with a 15-pin D-sub I/O and a 7-pin combo D-sub power and I/O.

The new connector provides robust construction, resistance to harsh environments and compatibility with existing systems. The SM1720D SmartMotor offers a compact size, fully integrated motion control capability and the flexibility to meet challenging motion control requirements.
