Analog Devices Unveils ADM1060 Power Supply IC

New Products Jul 17, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Analog Devices Inc. (Wilmington, MA) announced its new ADM1060, a programmable power supply supervisor/sequencing IC designed for central office and other infrastructure systems, which eliminates the need for multiple-fault detection ICs normally required to protect against damage, miscommunication and latch-up.

The ADM1060 features seven independent supplies, including one high-voltage detector (up to +14.4V); two bi-polar voltage detectors (up to +6V or down to -6V); and

four positive, low-voltage detectors (up to +6V), which can be programmed to detect under-voltage, over-voltage or out-of-window conditions. The ADM1060 provides

power supply monitoring at ±2.5 percent.

The ADM1060 is packaged in a 28-pin, TSSOP package. The price per unit in 1,000-piece quantities is $5.50. Samples are available now, with production quantities available in September 2002.
