American Power Conversion Unveils New DC Series Power Systems

American Power Conversion (APC, West Kingston, RI) unveiled its new dc series power systems designed for wireless, fiber optic, Internet-working and telecommunications applications. The -48Vdc series include complete dc power systems, dc power supplies and dc rectifiers, which deliver technologically advanced efficiency, power density and temperature range performance.

The new dc series provides enterprises, service providers and OEM customers with functionality, including hot-swappable, redundant rectifier modules; intelligent controllers; racks; power distribution; and low-voltage disconnect gear. Solutions are available in wall-mount and rack-mount configurations, supported by APC's sales and service organizations.
