Aerocomm Inc. (Lenexa, KS) announced its new ConnexNet line of Ethernet-enabled transceivers, which merge the company's RF protocol with the Digi Connect ME® embedded device server to facilitate networking around the world. The new transceivers serve as conduits between users and multiple destination devices via a local network or Internet connection.

The ConnexNet transceivers provide range at 900 MHz with up to 1 W of scalable output power offered in either server/client or peer-to-peer protocols. With multiple protocols, programmable data rates and unmatched product breadth, AeroComm offers flexibility to OEM wireless design.

Pricing for the ConnexNet CN4490-1000 (server/client) and CN4790-1000 (peer-to-peer) starts at $199 each. Starter packs, which feature one ConnexNet Ethernet device and one ConnexLink serial device, will be available for $325 per system.
