Advanced Power Solutions Offers 400W 1U High Switching Power Supply

Advanced Power Solutions (APS) announced the release of their 400W switching power supply that measures only 8.00 x 5.00 x 1.60" with full featured status & control signals for today’s leading edge systems.

The 400W supplies feature universal ac input with active power factor correction and single outputs ranging from 2.5 ~ 58Vdc and up to 400W of output power. Today’s systems often demand more than raw power from the system power supply. In support of these requirements, the supply offers Single Wire Parallel, Remote Sense, Remote Voltage Margining (50-100% of rated VDC), Current Monitor, Remote on/off and Power Fail Signals with an auxiliary Fan output (12V Fan @ 160mA). Additionally, the supplies will satisfy peak loads up to 700W often required from systems during start-up.

For greater flexibility, the supplies offer standard options including; End-Mount Fan Cover; Internal OR’ng Diodes; Constant Current Operation for Battery Charging Applications; and Industrial or Medical Safety Approved Models.
