Absopulse Presents LSI 1000 Sine Wave Inverter
Absopulse Electronics Ltd. (Carp, Ontario) announced its new LSI 1000 sine wave inverter, which was developed for low-profile applications requiring 1,000VA continuous duty. The inverter is suitable for driving ac appliances in industrial, utility, telecom, mobile, mining and marine environments. Typically filtered to meet EN55022 Curve B, the LSI 1000 is also well suited for EMI-sensitive applications.
The LSI 1000 solid-state inverter utilizes microprocessor-controlled, high-frequency, pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology to provide sinusoidal outputs of 115Vac or 230Vac at 50Hz, 60Hz or 400Hz, from 24Vdc, 36Vdc, 48Vdc, 125Vdc or 250Vdc sources. Load regulation is ±2% from 10% load to full load and total harmonic distortion is less than 5%.
The LSI 1000 is fan cooled and rated for operation over a 0°C to 50°C temperature range, with -40°C to +65°C available as an option. It features inrush current limiting, reverse polarity protection and protection via thermal fuse on the input. Output protection includes current limiting, short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown with automatic recovery in case of continuous overload or insufficient airflow. The unit is mechanically rugged and measures 2.2in x 17.5in x 17.5in.
The LSI 1000 is priced at $998 for quantities of over 100.
