65W to 80W Adapters Comply with Level VI Efficiency
TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the TDK-Lambda DT62D and DT80D adapter power supplies compliant with level VI efficiency standards. Suitable for a variety of test and measurement, communications and industrial applications, the adapters meet the new stringent average efficiency and no-load power regulations, mandated by the US DoE applicable from February 2016.
Accepting a 90- to 264-Vac input, the 65- to 80-W adapters are available with 12V to 48V outputs and can operate in ambient temperatures up to +70 degrees C for the DT62D and +60 degrees C for the DT80D models (de-rating applies). In addition to satisfying Energy Efficiency Level VI with an average efficiency of greater than 89% (DT80D) and 88% (DT62D), with an off-load power draw of less than 150mW (DT80D) and 210mW (DT62D), the products also meet CoC V5 Tier 2 requirements.
The series is housed in a rugged, vent-free enclosure, measuring 69 x 132 x 40mm. AC is applied using a standard IEC 60320-C13 cable and dc provided through a four pin Power-DIN connector. Other connectors are available upon request. The adapters also feature over-voltage and over-current protection.
The DT62/80-D series has been certified to UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2-No.60950-1, EN 609501-1, and IEC 60950-1 and carries the CE mark. All models meet EN 55022-B, FCC Class B conducted & radiated emissions and EN55024 immunity standards.
