IEEE802.3bt-Compliant 60W PoE Injectors Support up to 10G Transmission Rates
Phihong introduced the POE60U-1BTE-R, POE60U-1BT-2-R, POE60U-1BT-5-R, and POE60U-1BT-X-R, IEEE802.3bt compliant Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) single-port injectors with models that deliver 60W of power and 1G, 2.5G, 5G, and 10G transmission rates, respectively.
The company says that POE60U-1BT-2-R and POE60U-1BT-5-R models are the first commercial IEEE802.3bt compliant midspans to support IEEE802.3bz transmission speeds over current structured twisted pair wiring.
The POE60U-1BTE-R and POE60U-1BT multi-gigabit series injectors are suitable for use in many applications, including pan-tilt-zoom security cameras, building/access control equipment, Wi-Fi access devices, kiosks, IP print servers, IP Telephones, Bluetooth® access points, and WiMAX® access points.
Measuring 3.15in x 6.53in x 1.73in, the POE60U-1BTE-R and POE60U-1BT multi-gigabit injectors are also the first IEEE802.3bt compliant mid-spans on the market to meet the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE VI) efficiency regulations for external power supplies.
The injectors feature an IEC 320 C14 inlet, a non-vented case with integrated mounting tabs, full over-voltage and over-current protection features, and they have UL and CE certifications.
Backed by a 1-year warranty, the gigabit compatible injectors feature broken wire detection.
