4800mAh Mugenizer N11 Supports both Qi Wireless and USB Charging

Mugen Power Batteries from eTrade Asia Ltd. recently announced Mugenizer N11 QI Wireless Power Bank equipped with 4800mAh rechargeable battery. The device measures 3 X 5.4 X 0.55 in. and weighs about 8 ounces, similar in size and weight with a mobile phone handset. Its exterior is encased in smooth white plastic with rounded edges. There's a circle of gray-colored rubberized material on its top for placing and charging Qi-compatible devices. And any regular USB-to-micro-USB cable can be plugged into the pack's edge and can also be used to charge portable devices.

The Mugenizer N11 can charge two devices from the pack simultaneously; one on the wireless charging pad and the second plugged-in via USB. This is essentially a Qi-compatible charging pad with a build-in battery pack. When not traveling, the Mugenizer N11 can be used as a regular desktop charging pad. It can be plugged into the wall with the included ac adapter or any compatible adapter with a standard micro-USB connection. When the N11 is plugged in, it starts charging any Qi-compatible device as soon as the device is placed on the pad. When used as a portable wireless charging station, the user sets it on any surface, places the device to be charged on top, and then taps a small button at the top edge of the unit to initiate charging.

The pack has a series of six LEDs on its top surface which light up anytime the pack itself is plugged in to let the user know how full its battery is and also light up anytime the pack is being used to charge a phone or tablet. Features of the Mugenizer N11 include: universal 100- to 250-Vac input range for the included charger/adapter; 4800mAh Li-ion battery pack; an effective transmission distance of 4-7mm; an induction mode operating frequency range of 100-200kHz; a power conversion efficiency for the adapter of over 72%, cell conversion efficiency of over 65% and USB charging efficiency of over 80%; the unit measures 75mm X 137mm X 14mm and weighs 230g.
