40W AC-DCs in 2 x 2 Inch Package Deliver 80W Peak Power

The CFM41S series from Cincon are 40-Watt high-density class II ac-dc power supplies that provides 40W continuous output (up to 80W peak) of regulated power in a 2 x 2 inches (50.8 x 50.8 mm) package, and a low profile of 0.94 inches (23.9 mm). It has safety approvals for IEC/UL/EN 62368-1, and meets IEC/EN60335-1 for household appliances. It is available in 6 outputs of 5-, 12-, 15-, 24-, 36- and 48-Vdc, and optional versions of PCB mount, Wafer (-T), or Encapsulated(-E).

The CFM41S series are suitable for consumer electronics, telecommunication devices, commercial equipment, and light/ heavy industrial applications.

These power supplies offer an efficiency of up to 90%, and a very wide temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, while operating as high as +50°C at full rating, which covers most of the extreme environments. This power supplies can be used at a high altitude up to 5000m max, and also features a low no load input power consumption less than 0.15W.

The CFM41S series has a very powerful Peak load function, and at certain conditions (requirements see datasheet for details), it can provide up to 200% of the rated power.
