Mean Well has unveiled the EPS-45S / 65S series of 45W and 65W power supplies measuring 3" x 2". These power supplies are updated versions of the EPS-45 / 65 series which measure 4" x 2". The features of these two series are miniature size (3" x 2"), ultralow no load power consumption (<0.1W), less-than-1U low profile design (only 24mm high) that is well suitable for those low-cost applications installed inside the system cabinets without the need of the power enclosures. Suitable applications include industrial systems, electro-mechanical instruments, factory automation systems, and any electronic devices which demand low no load power consumption.
These power supplies feature a universal input range of 80- to 264-Vac and efficiency up to 91%. They have a working temperature range of -30 to +70 degrees C and are cooled by free air convection. Protection functions include Short circuit, Overload, and Over voltage.
Hold up time for the EPS-54S / 65S at full load is 30ms with an input voltage of 230Vac and 12ms with an input voltage of 115Vac. Both the EPS-45S / 65S and the EPS-45 / 65 series include an LED indicator for power on and approvals to UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE. They also come with a 3-year warranty and can be used in Class II(no FG) system designs.
