Schaefer Inc. has augmented its family of pure sine wave inverters with the new AEP-2000R Series of highly efficient and reliable 2KVA rackmount products. The AEP-2000R pure sine inverters offer benefits over modified or quasi-sine wave units by delivering "clean" output power for powering sensitive loads and for improving ac equipment performance.
The AEP-2000R Series is available in three standard input configurations of 12Vdc, 24Vdc and the less frequently found 48Vdc. Outputs are available in 115 or 230Vac versions, which are regulated to ±2% or better.
All models in the AEP-2000R Series feature comprehensive protection circuitry and a digital display to monitor/indicate low input voltage, short circuit, input overvoltage, over temperature, overload and low battery. The display also indicates voltage, amperage, power and temperature. Efficiency runs about 86 - 92%, depending upon model selected. Operating temperature is 0 to 40°C. EMI is minimized for reduced impact on other onboard equipment.
The compact, rackmount design is rugged and ideal for industrial, satellite, military, computer, recreational, marine and general backup power applications. The 17.12" x 16.69" x 3.48" (d x w x h) inverter fits easily into low-profile (2U) racks.
Schaefer's full family of pure sine wave inverters also includes modules starting at 700W of power, along with higher power 3-in-1 units that include a UPS and battery charger.
Modifications to standard units are available.
