Vicor Enters Agreement with Astec APS

Vicor Corp. (Andover, MA) announced that it has entered into a license agreement with Astec Advanced Power Systems Ltd. (Astec APS, Canada). Under this agreement, Astec APS has acquired non-exclusive rights to use Vicor's patented "reset" technology in its products. Astec APS, formerly the Advanced Power Systems business of Nortel, was acquired by Astec from Nortel last year. Astec APS joins a number of other reset technology licensees, including Nortel, located throughout North America and the world.
