Valere Power Inc. (Richardson, TX), a maker of power systems for the wireless and broadband sections of the telecommunications industry, announced that it has hired Peter Wasmuth, a power systems executive with 18 years of experience, to lead its aggressive European expansion as vice president of European sales. He will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and will report to Valere Power President and CEO Andy Marsh.
Valere Power plans to rapidly establish operations throughout the continent by building its own direct sales force and teaming with leading European power systems’ resellers and integrators in key countries. In August, the company announced it had raised $17 million to fund its expansion into Europe and Asia. The expansion was based on the company’s success in the US and its successful product development activities.
