TDI to Consolidate US Facilities While Expanding China Facilities

TDI announced the next steps of its global operations strategy – consolidation of its U.S. facilities and expansion of its China facility.

"These two strategies now position TDI to offer our customers the best of U.S. engineering and product support combined with Asian manufacturing for excellent economy," stated Robert Smolinski, CEO & COO.

The China operation has expanded to 96,000 sq. ft. and will offer increased economies of scale and additional manufacturing capacity. The company states that it is committed to maintaining its engineering development in the U.S. while moving some of its high volume manufacturing to its newly expanded China facility. The 150,000 sq. ft. headquarters facility in Hackettstown, New Jersey will accommodate over 400 employees.
