Seertech Opens Headquarters and Contemplates IPO

January 15, 2006 by Jeff Shepard

Seertech Corp. recently opened its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Seertech is a technology development and holding company with proprietary intellectual property that reduces the cost of large-area displays and signage. The company is also developing technology for the power storage and power generation industries.

As part of its growth strategy, Seertech intends to establish itself as a public corporation and plans to file the appropriate regulatory filings in the first half of 2006. Seertech's research and development lab facilities and technical staff are based in California's Silicon Valley.

The Silicon Valley facility provides access to a community of creative scientists and engineers, and the infrastructure to carry out advanced research and development in a proven environment that has produced most of the high-tech breakthroughs in recent decades, according to a company statement. A second research facility, located in Japan, is focused on refining device design and manufacturing processes.

"Silicon Valley is well-known as the birthplace of new technologies. By combining the technology concepts that we continue to develop here in Silicon Valley with efficient manufacturing processes from our laboratory in Japan, and production capabilities in the

Mid-Atlantic region, Seertech will benefit from the advantages of each region," says VP of Research and Development Glenn Sanders.

Seertech CEO Frank Bachinsky stated: "by locating our headquarters in Charlotte and establishing manufacturing facilities in North Carolina or South Carolina, Seertech will leverage a ready pool of skilled workers to reduce costs and bring new employment opportunities and economic benefits to the Carolinas. The new technologies and products developed by Seertech will attract other high-technology firms and generate opportunities for companies who support manufacturers in the region."
