Red Rocket & Arrow Electronics Sign Contract Extension To Promote EOS Brand Power Supplies
Red Rocket, Inc. announced that it has signed a contract extension with Arrow Electronics making Red Rocket a lead supplier at Arrow’s North America and Latin America sales branches and accelerating the sales and marketing efforts of the company’s EOS brand power supplies.
Red Rocket designs, manufactures and markets its EOS ac-dc power solutions for applications in industrial, medical, multimedia and data-networking products and systems worldwide. Ranging in power from 25 to 200W, EOS power supplies are known worldwide for their small size and high output power making them suitable for low profile electronic product designs. As the heartbeat driving microprocessors, memory modules and drives, flat panel displays, cooling fans and more, EOS power supplies are said to offer designers a slim-line package, high reliability and low thermal signature. It is claimed that these features and benefits produce carefree use, low heat generation and reduced total cost of ownership.
Arrow Electronics, which has been selling the EOS brand since late 1997, has hundreds of customers in North America using the EOS power supplies, which are claimed to be typically 10-15% more efficient and smaller than competing models. Over 30 million EOS power supplies are in use today in top brand computers, point of sale and touch screen terminals, broadcasting and multimedia equipment, IT hubs, switches and routers, medical pumps, drips, defibrillators, endoscopes and instrumentation as well as industrial printers, automation equipment and safety and security equipment.
