nPhase To Enable Wireless SmartServices For Uninterruptible Power Systems
AMETEK Solidstate Controls has selected nPhase to develop and deploy a wireless SmartService enterprise monitoring solution for AMETEK's Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and Battery Management Systems deployed in Nuclear and Fossil Power Generation, Petrochemical and other related industrial markets.
The nPhase SmartService solution is an end-to-end, including secure bi-directional communications over GSM/GPRS and CDMA networks, a hosted application customized to AMETEK needs, and a 24/7 Network Operations Center. Through partnership with Beckett LogiSync, a provider of information-enabled embedded communications products, the nPhase solution interfaces with the AMETEK UPS control system at the operating system level. Data is then transported securely and bi-directionally to centralized information systems with Internet access.
