Lambda SWS Power Supplies Receive SEMI F47 Certification

April 28, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Lambda Electronics Inc. (San Diego, CA) announced that it has received SEMI F47-0200 certification on its SWS Series 300 W and 600 W power supplies, enabling them to be used in a wide variety of semiconductor fabrication equipment. The SEMI F47 is an industry standard for voltage sag immunity.

All SWS300 and SWS600 models accept a wide range of input voltages from 85 Vac to 264 Vac, with SEMI F47-0200 certification granted at full load from 208 Vac to 240 Vac and at reduced operating power with input voltages from 100 Vac to 115 Vac. The SWS300 and SWS600 are available with output voltages from 3.3 V to 48 V and currents up to 100 A. They can deliver up to 600 W from -10 °C to +65 °C, and derate to 50% load from 50 °C to 65 °C. Remote on/off, power-fail and current-share signals are standard on the 600 W models.

The SWS300 and SWS600 power supplies are priced starting at $112 each in 100-unit quantities.
