IR Opens North American Automotive Sales Office

International Rectifier Corp. (El Segundo, CA) recently announced it has opened its North American Automotive Sales Office in Novi, MI.The company claims it has been the global leader in automotive power conversion electronics for more than 50 years, in areas such as electric power steering, including optimized power and control requirements; solutions for 14V/42V dual-voltage starter/alternator for 5-7kW power net systems; ignition coil-on-plug IGBTs with Zener clamps; solid-state relays for high-power switching applications; and low Rds(on) MOSFETs with best-in-class avalanche ratings.
