Ioxus Partners with WPG Americas for North American Distribution of Ultracapacitors
Ioxus, Inc. a manufacturer of ultracapacitor technology for transportation, alternative energy, medical, industrial and consumer product markets, announced the addition of WPG Americas to its North American distribution channel. WPG Americas serves industries such as semiconductors and passive, electro-mechanical and display products, significantly broadening Ioxus’ potential customer base in the region. By providing technical and marketing support to carefully selected channel partners, Ioxus can deliver components more quickly to more customers in more markets globally.

WPG Americas joins other partners, including Mouser Electronics, Atlantic Components and Ineltek USA, in serving North American needs for higher capacity ultracapacitors that deliver greater power density in a smaller package. Ioxus continues to expand its global distribution network to fulfill the need for ultracapacitors and hybrid capacitors in alternative energy, automotive and LED lighting applications for which manufacturers are seeking higher cycle life, wider temperature range tolerance and lower total cost of ownership.
