iGo Corp. (Reno, NV) announced that David Olson has been named Acting President and CEO. Olson succeeds Rick Shaff, who will continue to serve as a consultant to the company. Olson, who has been a consultant to iGo during the last few months, brings operations and sales management experience to the company. Most recently, Olson served as vice president, worldwide sales and support for SkyStream Networks, a network infrastructure company, and served as vice president, worldwide operations for SkyStream.

"I'd like to acknowledge and thank Rick for guiding the company during a trying time and for his many accomplishments, most significantly, the substantial reduction in the company's cash burn rate,” said Olson. “The operational controls and expense management improvements generated by Rick's restructuring efforts will give me and the team a basis on which to move iGo forward.”
