Hubert Payne Named VP of Analog Engineering Operations at TI

Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) announced Hubert (Hubie) Payne's election as vice president. As vice president of Analog Engineering Operations for TI, Payne will oversee and manage a worldwide engineering team responsible for analog products in production. In this role, he will be responsible for driving innovations in product test as well as executing effective ways to reduce cost while maintaining exemplary quality, capacity and delivery of products.

“Hubie began his career at TI as an engineer, so he has a deep knowledge of customer expectations as well as the dynamics of designing and producing an analog product cost-effectively and to consistently high standards,” said Brian Crutcher, senior vice president, Analog Engineering Operations. “Combining this knowledge with his strong leadership skills, Hubie will help TI continue to compete and deliver quality products to our customers.”

Payne joined TI in 1996 as an applications engineer. He has advanced throughout his 17-year career at TI to roles including Hard Disk Drive product engineering manager, Advanced Embedded Controls engineering manager, and most recently, Analog Engineering Operations product engineering director. Payne earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
