Honda Reports Brisk Orders for Life Minicar

Honda Motor Co. Inc. (Tokyo) reported that the new version of its "Life" mini vehicle, launched two weeks ago, has drawn about 16,000 orders, exceeding the automaker's monthly target of 15,000 units. The Life, which features a new body technology designed to better protect occupants in the event of a crash, went on sale September 5, 2003, with prices ranging from 950,000 yen to 1.28 million yen.
