EPA Announces Enterprise Servers/Data Centers Conference

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced plans for an upcoming "Conference on Enterprise Servers and Data Centers: Opportunities for Energy Savings," which is scheduled for January 31, 2006, at the Sun Microsystems Conference Facility in Santa Clara, CA. The conference is co-sponsored by AMD, Sun Microsystems Inc., Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, the Power Sources Manufacturers Association, and EPA's ENERGY STAR program. Discussions at the conference will focus on the many opportunities for energy savings in this area. Additional sponsorship opportunities for the conference are still available.
