Eltek, a global specialist in high efficiency power conversion, and SENS (Stored Energy Systems LLC), a U.S. specialist in high-quality industrial dc power systems, announced a new strategic alliance. The companies will collaborate to provide ruggedized dc power systems based on Eltek’s, high-efficiency and scalable switchmode power conversion technology to demanding industrial customers.

Under the new alliance, SENS will integrate Eltek’s core Flatpack 2 rectifier and Smartpack controller products into dc systems hardened for the rigors of industrial environments, focusing primarily on the power generation, power transmission & distribution and industrial controls markets.

Executives of the two companies see strong synergies that will enable them jointly to deliver new value to industrial users. "SENS is renowned in the industrial sector for providing the most innovative and reliable dc power systems coupled with exceptional customer service," said David Leal, Eltek Vice President of Sales for North America. "We are excited to work with them to build our industrial business."

Doug Kaewert, COO of SENS said, "Eltek is the clear leader in modular, high-efficiency rectifiers. Eltek technology will enable us to complement our existing product line with new high-value systems offering features such as N+1 redundancy, best-in-class efficiency and high power in a small footprint."
