Electric Fuel Signs Distribution Agreement with Interpage Communications

Electric Fuel Corp. (New York) announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Interpage Communications (Ottawa, Canada) in which Interpage will distribute Electric Fuel's line of ZincAir primary cellphone batteries in eastern Canada. The distribution agreement includes an initial order for 20,000 batteries.

Interpage Communications supplies wireless services and products throughout eastern Canada. The territory covered by the distribution agreement includes the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, as well as the smaller maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador and Prince Edward Island.

Mitchell Horwitz, Electric Fuel's vice president for North American marketing and sales, said, "The distribution agreement with Interpage is very exciting for us because it represents our first sales in Canada. We think that Interpage is an excellent partner because of its extensive experience in distributing wireless products in this territory."
