The Educational Division of e/j Bloom Associates Inc. (San Rafael, CA) announced a new four-day, two-segment design course, Modern Power Conversion Design Techniques, which will be held in Las Vegas, NV, from August 17 to August 20, 2004. The new course has been divided into two different topic segments, each with its own consultant instructor. One of the new segments this year deals with EMI control by proper circuit and packaging design methods.
Hotel location in Las Vegas for the course is the non-gaming Las Vegas Crowne Plaza, located within walking distance of the famous Las Vegas "Strip" and minutes from the airport. A special rate of $89 per night has been set for any attendee who makes his/her reservation there by the middle of July.
